Today many people laugh

at the very concept of God!

They say there is no one truth.

People believe there is no real one God.  They think there are many paths and many gods.  Others worship the god of self.  Materialism, sexual desire, drugs, alcohol and anything else that indulges their “feel-good” satisfaction of “self”.

Right and wrong are considered old-fashioned quaint beliefs.  Some worship science.  If you can’t prove it…..then it doesn’t exist.  The spiritual realm is foolish to these people.

One could expect a lost and dying world to believe like this.  They have never met the true God.  They never said they believed in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

What about the Christians?

What about all of you “believers” that don’t believe all of God’s word?  You pick and choose the part that you like and you choose to believe them.  You interpret the scriptures to suit yourself.  What about YOU?

A lot of you profess to be Christians and actually go to church on Sunday.  The rest of the week belongs to you though.  Pretty much anything goes.

Galatians 6:7-9   Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap.  For he that sows unto his own flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that sows unto the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life. And let us not be weary in well-doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Some of you are actually preachers!  God have mercy on your soul!

You think it is perfectly all right to take God’s grace and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.  Then…..you do whatever you want.  You sin.  Let us call it what it is!  SIN!  You don’t tell you congregation about sin or repentance.  By your silence you imply that sin isn’t important.

You say GRACE makes that OK.  How dare you!

Yes……our wonderful Lord Jesus paid the price for your sin.  He made it possible for you to live a more wholesome life by listening and obeying the Holy Spirit’s voice.  The Holy Spirit convicts us all of our sins (if we will listen AT ALL).  Then we can come to our Heavenly Father and ask for forgiveness.  BUT…..you have to turn away from your sins!

Romans 6:15   What then? shall we sin, because we are not under law, but under grace? God forbid.

If you really believe in Jesus as your Savior……then you were reborn and are dead to the old person.  Yes…..sometimes we do still sin.  But……never let it be that we are content to live in sin without any heart for repentance.  THAT would mean our conscience are completely seared over and we cannot hear the voice of the Holy Spirit pleading with us!

Hebrews 10: 29-31   Think how much worse will be the punishment deserved by someone who has

trampled underfoot the Son of God; who has treated as something common the blood of the covenant

which made him holy; and who has insulted the Spirit, giver of God’s grace!   For the One we know is the

One who said, “Vengeance is my responsibility; I will repay,” and then said, “ADONAI will judge his

people.”   It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!

I’ll say it again……..
